Congratulations to 1st year MLA student team, Jason Poole, Jennifer Ren, Laura Robinson, and professor Dr. Byoung-Suk Kweon on being chosen as the First Place Winner for this year's Sustainable Growth Challenge organized by the Maryland Sustainable Growth Commission!
Secretary David R. Craig noted that "the panel was very impressed with the team's well-crafted project, site elements and team presentation." He also mentioned that "the group should be commended for how they included the "triple bottom line" of sustainability within the project construct and in demonstrating the many benefits of converting a vacant lot into a neighborhood amenity."
A Sustainable Growth Forum and Awards Ceremony will be scheduled later on this year.
