Sarah Allard, a PhD candidate in Dr. Shirley Micallef's lab, has been awarded a 2016 IAFP Student Travel Scholarship to attend the International Association for Food Protection Annual Meeting in St. Louis, MO this summer. She will present her work on the microbiome of tomato and cucumber fruit in a poster titled "Response of Cucumber and Tomato Microbiomes to Rainfall".
