In addition to college scholarships, talented students will also be considered for University's merit scholarships. Details and information on freshmen and transfer student merit scholarships can be found listed on the UM's Financial Aid/Scholarships web page.
Multiple scholarships, fellowships, and award opportunities are open for our graduate students via gradschool.umd.edu. Visit their website for current lists, deadlines and application instructions. Note: For awards requesting departmental recommendations, please contact the Executive Administrative Assistant (psla@umd.edu) in the PSLA Chair's Office no later than 3 weeks prior to the due date of the award for which you are applying.
