Carving it Up

November 9, 2018

To celebrate the Halloween festivities, the Student ASLA held their annual Pumpkin Carving Party. Students from the undergraduate and graduate studios traded pens and markers for carving tools and scoopers. The horticulture lab was quickly filled with holiday songs and an interesting mix of aromas created by the fresh pumpkins and pizza. Faculty made an appearance as well, checking out some of the students’ creations. Dr. Myers contributed with a carving of one of his cats! Four winners were selected based on the following categories: Most Creative Pumpkin, Scariest Pumpkin, Funniest Pumpkin, and Cutest Pumpkin.
