So Long, Farewell

“It has truly been a wonderful experience to serve as this year’s Student ASLA President, and I am extremely grateful for the constant support of the Executive Board. If it weren’t for these driven students, many of our accomplishments would not have been possible. I’m proud to say that we’ve achieved our goal to strengthen the sense of community among the students, faculty, and alumni.
While it is bittersweet to exit my role, I am excited to enter the professional realm with my incredible colleagues. I encourage students to step out of their comfort zone, get involved in ASLA, and ‘make no little plans’--I promise you will not regret it!”

“Thank you to everyone for reading this newsletter! I have enjoyed writing these stories and sharing some of the behind-the-scenes news in our program. As the Newsletter Correspondent, I had the opportunity to hear all about what students and faculty experienced throughout the semester in regards to our program. It was a joy of mine to highlight some of these experiences, thank you for your contributions.
We have an awesome learning environment here, and an even better group of people. I am thankful to have been a part of this community, and hope the best for all of my UMD LARC peers.
Continue to serve, and love doing it.”
