PSLA and Entomology professor Dr. Maile C. Neel was selected by SCB (North American Section) for the Edward T. LaRoe III Memorial Award. The award targets individuals showing leadership in government service and translating the principles of conservation biology into real-world conservation. As a member of SCB, Dr. Neel received this prestigious award for her work in species recovery and genetic diversity and her research applications to restoration and management.
