Gobble Gobble Gobble

5 o’clock came quickly as students were ready to bolt to their homes for a highly anticipated Thanksgiving break, but not before they had a taste of the holiday with their fellow Landscape Architecture students! The Student ASLA hosted a Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner in celebration of the upcoming holiday and the hard work that had be given throughout the majority of the semester. The 2nd -year MLA students graciously offered their studio space to be used for the event where students gathered for a feast that left no stomach unhappy or empty for that matter! It is apparent that Landscape Architecture students share a passion for designing beautiful landscapes and for devouring Thanksgiving food. Honey ham, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, and even chicken wings were some of the delicious food on the menu that evening. Professor Nola, Dr. Ellis, Dr. Kweon, and Dr. Chanse also made their way around the table, and chatted with students. As studio projects and other school responsibilities get going, it is important for both students and faculty members to pause and enjoy each other’s company.
