Be a part of an exciting, novel, diverse department. We address how plants and design affect climate change; food safety; and access the needs of our changing urban/peri-urban communities.
The Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture (PSLA) offers a number of undergraduate majors. Two lead to the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree: Plant Sciences, and Agricultural Science and Technology. The remaining major leads to a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (B.L.A.) degree. We also offer three graduate programs: Extension Education (Master), Plant Science (MS or PhD in PLSC), and Landscape Architecture (MLA). Courses offered by this department may be found under the following acronyms: AGST, PLSC, LARC.
